Music Inspires

Overview

Launched in 2012, Music Inspires is VYOA’s school partnership program that provides instrumental music instruction supporting rural and underserved schools across Vermont.

Music Inspires provides group lessons, coachings, instruments, school-day performances, and materials at no cost to students and their families or their schools. During the 2025-2026 school year, approximately 50 students were served over 60 hours of instruction, culminating in 6 different performances for family, friends, and community audiences.
