How do I decide which ensemble to audition for? – Vermont Youth Orchestra Association

Students do not apply for membership in a specific choral ensemble; placement is based on school grade
Students entering 3rd to 8th grade in the fall of 2014 are eligible for membership in the Vermont Youth Concert Chorale, under the direction of Kristin Bamberger
Students entering 9th to 12th grade in the fall of 2014 are eligible for membership in the VYO Chorus, under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey Buettner
Male students below 9th grade whose voices have changed may be eligible for membership in the VYO Chorus. Contact auditions@vyo.org for more information
