School Tours
School Tours to local schools are scheduled with the VYOA orchestras each spring, pending funding for this program. This experience provides additional performance opportunities, enables players to share their music with their peers, and inspires in others an interest in music. All members are expected to participate. This involves a one-day absence from school, usually just prior to the Spring concert. [Exception: VYO School Tours usually take place in the fall.]
